SUBJECT: HOTEL REGULATIONS IN THE NETHERLANDS

 

 

           I am writing to enquire if you are able to provide me with any information concerning the regulations of funning a hotel within the Netherlands, specifically Amsterdam.

 

           My current project is to relocate to Amsterdam and run a budget hostel from a converted property. I already understand the general business requirements from the Chamber of Commerce, but haven’t been able to find out the specific regulations and requirements of running a hotel, which I am presuming is under the auspice of the Netherlands Board of Tourism.

 

           Any information in English that you could possibly furnish me would be greatly helpful at this point.
